This anime passes the first criterion in episode 1, and the second and third in episode 13. The conversations are not frequent or non-trivial though.
  1. Are there two named female characters?
  2. Who have a conversation?
  3. Not about men?
  4. Does this happen frequently?
  5. Is the conversation non-trivial?

If I ever hear Aki exclaim ‘D boy’ (that D stands for danger, don’t get ahead of yourselves) again, I cannot be held accountable for my actions. On a more serious note, none of the girls really ever do anything important, they don’t really talk to each other and the boobs of the naked female takkamen (tekkawomen?) are a bit too much of a focus to not be fan service. The dudes are also drawn naked to be fair, but the camera doesn’t focus on their genitals… Interestingly though, I’d classify Rebin as a trans character and she is mostly accepted for who she is, which is surprisingly nice and progressive. Though in the dub they just made Rebin biologically female from the start… Anyway, this show is a bit too long and not that great to be entertaining, so I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re very bored. I started the second season, but couldn’t bear to continue when suddenly it changed into some weird magical girl (in a bad way) shit, so someone else will have to Bechdel that. I don’t have the heart.
